Or maybe you’re like a lot of our members- You want to get fit, but you think going to the gym is boring and ultimately not very productive.
If so, then this is what you’re looking for.
A new round of our dedicated beginner classes will be starting in Point Blank Gym on Monday January 18th Classes will be running on Mondays at 7pm and Wednesdays at 6:30pm and focus on the fundamentals of MMA – Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling and kickboxing.
Point Blank Gym is Galway’s only dedicated MMA facility, featuring a large matted training area, and a competition-sized cage.

Beginners working on their striking
These classes can be used as either a stand-alone course for those interested in learning something new or adding to their skills, or as an introduction to further training in Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. So, whether you are just looking to take up a new sport or if you fancy yourself as a future UFC champion, these classes are a great place to get started.
Classes are suitable for all, regardless of your current fitness level. Training at Point Blank is a fun, enjoyable experience. You will learn new skills, get stronger and fitter and be part of a team of people all committed to doing the same. Remember, you don’t need to be fit to join; getting you in shape is our job!
