Or maybe you’re like a lot of our members- You want to get fit, but you think going to the gym is boring and ultimately not very productive.
If so, then this is what you’re looking for.
A new round of our dedicated beginner classes will be starting in Point Blank Gym on Monday June 20th. Classes will be running on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm and focus on the fundamentals of MMA – Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling and kickboxing.
Point Blank Gym is Galway’s dedicated MMA facility, featuring a large matted training area, and a competition-sized cage.

At Point Blank we have 2 streams of MMA practitioners:
Competitive: Those actively seeking to compete in Mixed Martial Arts at any level.
Non-Competitive: Those using MMA training as a past time for fitness or a hobby.
No matter which category you fall into, you’ll be challenged every day to become better than you were before.
Remember – You don’t need to be fit to start! Getting you fit is our job! So whether you’re currently in good shape or whether you’re using MMA as a method of getting that way, we can help you. In our gym you’ll find no wannabe tough guys, just people like you who are interested in the challenge of training or competing in MMA and BJJ.
We’re now enrolling for this course. We are offering the first 6 weeks of the course for only €60! That’s a 33% discount from our regular rates.

These classes can be used as either a stand-alone course for those interested in learning something new or adding to their skills, or as an introduction to further training in Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. So, whether you are just looking to take up a new sport or if you fancy yourself as a future UFC champion, these classes are a great place to get started.
Classes are suitable for all, regardless of your current fitness level. Training at Point Blank is a fun, enjoyable experience. You will learn new skills, get stronger and fitter and be part of a team of people all committed to doing the same. Remember, you don’t need to be fit to join; getting you in shape is our job!
